Believed to have originated from the collection of a South American diplomat, this presentation sword conveys its ownership by an individual of great importance. It features an engraved brass scabbard and a blued steel blade. It has an intricately worked gilt bronze forms the grip, cross guard and figural pommel crafted in the form of the Greek goddess of war, Athena.
